Day 9
We started the day by going to Napoleon's tomb. It was a pretty interesting building. I thought it was funny that such a small guy had such a large tomb/casket.
There were also other people buried in the tomb with Napoleon. A lot of other famous french artists, scientists, and philosophers (i don't remember their names).
Along with Napoleon's tomb, there was a very large history museum. It started with the 1400's (ish), and then went all the way through WW2. There was a lot of cool stuff in here, but i didn't take a lot of pictures bc we had a short amount of time and i was walking very fast. They had A LOT of different weapons. They also had a cool room full of miniature models of different Castles and strong holds in France.
After the museum, we went to the Louvre. We were given the rest of the day to do whatever we wanted, so a few of us decided to walk around the Louvre for a while, then go back to the Hotel for a free dinner, and then come back and finish the Louvre. I was really only interested in finding art that i had seen before (mainly in from my Civ Arts class), so that's what i took pictures of. I'll title the ones that i know. When we came back to the Louvre after dinner, i accidentally left my camera back in my room so i got some other people to take some pictures for me.
